Timothy “Tim” Taylor is a Bates Testifying Expert who has a broad and diversified skillset within real estate and private capital industries, with an emphasis in development, investment and lending. Spanning over 30 years with over $1 billion in direct project and investment experience throughout his career. Within the real estate industry Tim has been involved in every market from single family residential to industrial properties. On the investment side he specializes in direct asset/project investment all the way to buying bank paper from FDIC banking institutions. Within the lending sphere, Tim has been involved with securing financing from multiple sources within capital markets, private debt/equity raise and structuring partnerships, with a heavy emphasis of private capital lending through his own companies and partnership network.
Tim’s experience in the real estate and private capital markets has enabled him to forge strategic alliances and access to resources that has afforded him the ability to be exposed to a wide range of projects and investment opportunities in many different sectors of the real estate and private capital markets. Tim is involved in the due diligence acquisition, entitlements, development and construction of real estate projects. His role has varied over the course of his career depending on the project or investment from ownership, sponsor, developer and investor. Tim also provides advisory and consultancy services to other developers, investors, and lenders from development to loan workouts.
