Kevin M. Neal, a Bates Group affiliate expert, brings over 20 years of extensive financial services experience focused on high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) client issues, and on financial advisors’ practices, including suitability, advisor/firm sales practices, wealth management issues, and fiduciary requirements.

A Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter and Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), and Chartered Life Consultant, Mr. Neal is President and CEO of Moenio, LLC, a client-advisory firm, with offices in Miami and Nashville. Mr. Neal’s firm focuses on helping clients evaluate their current financial advisors, finding new financial advisors and providing analysis for clients in areas such as trustee/protector obligations, performance evaluations, fee analysis, and investment manager selection. 

Before forming Moenio, Mr. Neal was a Private Wealth Advisor and Senior Vice President with UBS Financial Services. He worked with clients ranging from $10mm to $1b in net worth and assets. He acted as a Portfolio Manager, actively managing over $400mm in client assets utilizing the cross-section of investment solutions to meet client’s needs; stocks, bonds, structured notes, private equity, hedge funds, mutual funds, separately managed account (SMA), ETF’s and more.

Before becoming a Private Wealth Advisor, Mr. Neal served as a Wealth Management Consultant (WMC) and Business Development Consultant (BDC) for UBS Financial Services. As a WMC, Mr. Neal’s role was to support Financial Advisors when working with HNW and UHNW clients in retaining and building their business, including   Investment and portfolio creation utilizing broad-based product usage: SMA’s, alternative products, mutual funds, structured notes. Mr. Neal assisted clients with financial plan creation, incorporating lending, trust and estate planning, investments, and insurance solutions. He also attended prospect and client meetings with clients to help them retain or close business.

As a Business Development Consultant, Mr. Neal’s role was specifically focused on evaluating the advisor’s business and sales practice to help them create better solutions for their clients and for growth.
